Our 2nd floor is being redeveloped into UpTown: the place where 6th Avenue kids can laugh, play (games), create, learn, pray, and play (instruments). We're still meeting around the work, and waiting for murals and other decorations to finish the look when the work is done...

Sundays: Children's Church begins during worship and continues until the adults are done

Wednesdays:
6:00pm - the $1 Dinner, that's right--a meal for a buck! Children are paired up with an adult to share the meal and conversation together-- during dessert, they share an activity and prayer together before dismissing for UpTown.
6:30pm - UpTown--kids are led in small group from to :

		Bible - kids learn from the teaching and examples of Scripture as to how they fit into "God's Big Picture"
		Creative Rhythms - kids learn how to work together with percussion in playing a song to share with the church
		Prayer - kids learn a new way to pray each month and put it into practice each week
		Minute to Win It games - kids take on activities from the popular game show to attempt to win the nightly prize
		Crafts - making something fun that either reflects the Bible lesson or the season
